    Service delivery channels and communication/sales

    Channels take two forms: sales channels and service delivery channels. The following table highlights some of the current and proposed developments in these areas.

    Service delivery channels and communication/sales

    Service delivery costs for core services will in the future reflect the channel of distribution. It is intended that customers should be able to choose the electronic delivery channel that suits them withouthaving to bear the costs of other channels, and the pricing structure will be created accordingly.

    In the areas of marketing and sales, the channel mix is likely to be more complex and more heavily driven by customer segment requirements.
