Blueprint 2007 Section 1 Contents Previous Next

    1 Foreword

Land Registry’s first Organisational Blueprint was published in September 2006. It set out a blueprint for the future of Land Registry by the middle of the next decade and contained a number of changes to Land Registry that affected the staff employed and where they work, as well as Land Registry's customers and how they are served.

It was stated at the time of the first Blueprint that the document represented the current view of Land Registry’s future, which would inevitably change over time, and that there would therefore be a continuing need to review the matters contained in the Blueprint and refresh it on a regular basis. It was intended to publish new versions of the document at least annually. This document is the first revision of the Blueprint.

Some of the contents of the Blueprint may impact upon the terms and conditions of staff and therefore will be subject to consultation with the trade unions. Land Registry will continue to consult the trade unions on these and other matters, and where appropriate will engage with staff to obtain their views and input.
