Land Registration Rules 2003 (as amended)

This version of the Land Registration Rules 2003 ('the LRR 2003') shows the effect of amending legislation up to and including the Land Registration (Amendment) Rules 2009, coming into force on 1 October 2009.

We show only the net result of amending legislation. Where a provision of the LRR 2003 has been amended and the amended wording is itself amended, only the effect of the most recent amending legislation is shown and referred to in the note following the rule concerned.

Square brackets are used to indicate the removal of text ("[…]") and the insertion or substitution of new text. However, as square brackets were used in some of the schedules to the LRR 2003, we use curly brackets ("{…}") instead of square brackets in the schedules to denote the removal, insertion or substitution of text.

The text is believed to be accurate, but you should check the LRR 2003 and amending legislation as these appear on the Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI) website to satisfy yourself on any points on which reliance is placed. The legislation is Crown copyright.
