Complete this clause with details of the total premium paid including VAT where appropriate. Do not refer to a clause in the lease. If the lease takes no premium, insert 'none'.
You can set out the information in one of two ways; for example
- �100,000 plus VAT of �17,500 or
- �117,500 inclusive of VAT.
Do not refer to VAT generally: ie.�100,000 plus VAT.
In the absence of evidence in the lease or other papers lodged that VAT was payable, Land Registry will assume that the consideration or premium and rent quoted in a deed includes any VAT element payable.
