Please note that this chapter covers completion of the clauses where their use is compulsory. Where the clauses are used on a voluntary basis there may also be a need to lodge separate applications in form AP1, AN1 or UN1 to note interests covered by clauses LR9,10,11 and 12. Details of the need to make additional applications can be found in the chapter 'Using the clauses'.
Clause LR1 The date entered in this clause will be used for registration purposes. Any other date, such as on a cover, will be ignored. When completing this clause: - insert the date of the lease
- use the full date format
For example: 19 June 2006; not 19/06/2006 or 19 Jun 06, or June 19th 2006.
