What our students say

Locum solicitor Christine Knibb learned 'a terrific amount' on the two-year diploma course. 'It has given me an in-depth knowledge of the Land Registration Act, including adverse possession,' said Christine. 'The course is value for money and I thought the study weekends and revision days were superb.'

Deborah Colvill was entered for the certificate course when she was appointed as Post-Completions Manager at law firm Howes Percival. 'In my day-to-day work I’m constantly asked questions by my staff,' said Deborah. 'I’m more confident about answering them now. I have the ‘bible’ – the course book – next to me permanently.'

Nationwide Building Society has put 17 of their staff through the certificate course. Sheila Bryan, Team Manager in the Mortgage Service Centre, said 'Most of us had no legal qualifications so it was deemed appropriate for us,' she said. 'The course has given us an in-depth knowledge of what is required by us to deliver our services to our customers. We learned loads – it was very valuable.'
