Registry service for lenders who wish to update the

E-signatures prototype undertaken to prove
the concept.
A simple e-lodgement service launched. |

Chain Matrix
prototype.
Chain Matrix was
a web-based notice
board that showed
progress of buyers and sellers involved in a "chain".
Its intention was to provide up to date, accurate and reliable information.
The six-month trial involved more than 1,000 property professionals, and their clients, in three parts of England.

New Land Registry
web service, the Land
Registry portal, launched.
Improvements to
e-discharges service introduced.

E-charges (mortgages) introduced.
E-signatures introduced
for use on e-charges.
Business Gateway due for release in summer 2009.
Conveyancers can lodge applications directly to Land Registry from their case management systems.
