E-transfers including SDLT

Land Registry is proposing to introduce the electronic transfer in 2009. We are working closely with HM Revenue and Customs to allow SDLT (Stamp Duty Land Tax) returns to be prepared and submitted as part of the process.

Much of the information entered on the return will include automatically-entered 'checked' data imported from the transactional documents such as e-TR1.
