E-conveyancing and you:
Prepare yourself: Education and training
E-conveyancing is coming, and it will radically affect everyone involved in the property business, from solicitors and conveyancers to purchasers and sellers.
All of them will have to learn a few new skills and procedures. In return they will find the entire process becomes quicker, easier, and more reliable.
Land Registry runs many education programmes to make conveyancers aware of our proposals for e-conveyancing and to explain the potential benefits. We are also devising a range of training facilities together with practice guidance and support materials.
We expect that companies currently providing continuous professional development will be used to help train conveyancers in the use of e-conveyancing services in the future. The aim is that as each part of the service is launched, it can be used properly and successfully.
