E-lodgement: receipt of the application When the electronic application has been delivered, the application will appear on the day list. This is the Land Registry's database of pending applications. An on-screen message will confirm that the application has been accepted. The message will contain the following information:
It is important that you select the correct application type from the on-screen menu, and take great care to complete the on-screen fields correctly. To help you easily identify that you have selected the correct application type, each introduction page in the module shows an image of the equivalent paper application form. Completion of the screen input fields is not the same as the paper based forms; it is much easier. Please note that if an application is lodged under the wrong application form, or it contains errors that Land Registry staff cannot resolve, it will be rejected and the application cancelled. You will then lose priority for the application. If the application is cancelled or rejected, the information will be lost from the system. Before you can re-submit the application, all of the details will need to be entered again through Land Registry Direct using the correct application form. E-lodgement: result of the application After completion of the application you will receive a 'Register Completion Sheet' and the 'Title Information Document' showing the updated register. For certain types of application we can provide these documents in an electronic format if you request this option. These will be available within Land Registry Direct for you to download to your Desktop. If we are unable to process your request for an electronic result for your type of application or you request a postal result you will receive these items in paper format through the post or DX in the usual way.
