Online Annual Review 2005/6

Data management

The quality of our geographic data – title plans, index map and addresses – is of fundamental importance. We have recognised the need for a comprehensive data management environment to allow us to manage this key asset in a much more proactive fashion. Key among developments in this area is the implementation of a Quality Improvement Flowline (QIF), which will facilitate the cleansing of an area, to approved standards. The QIF is currently in the early stages of programme design.
