Customer service and operations

Welsh language service

We aim to deliver an equally high quality service in Welsh and English.

  • Every register template produced in Wales is printed in bilingual format
  • All headings and standard information on registers of titles in Wales appear in Welsh and English
  • Individual entries appear in the language (English or Welsh) of the source document
  • We offer a Welsh language service on the telephone, in written correspondence and in the customer information and Telephone Services centres.
  • We have Welsh speaking staff and, when necessary, external translators.
  • Land Registry welcomes correspondence in Welsh and English and initiates correspondence in Welsh to those who are known to prefer corresponding in Welsh
  • Land Registry welcomes letters/faxes/e-mails in Welsh and writes in Welsh to those who prefer corresponding in Welsh.
  • Our website has a Welsh language version www.cofrestrfatir.gov.uk
