Intakes and outputs
It was a record year, with:
- 31,205,617 applications received (up two per cent on 2003–04)
- 31,230,345 applications output (up two per cent on 2003-04, our all-time record)
- outstanding casework down by over 30 per cent (with 94,114 cases still waiting to be processed) - this is the lowest level since modern records began.
