Land Register Online
After a successful 18-month pilot, we ran an integrated marketing and communication campaign to launch landregisteronline.gov.uk to the public. Following a press launch on 31 January 2005, the site immediately rose to the position of the seventh most visited government website in the UK. The campaign involved advertising in regional property papers; distribution of posters and flyers to Citizens Advice Bureaux, libraries and post offices; a week of radio messaging in the Sheffield area; and online advertising. Further marketing activity will take place in the coming months.
