Performance management

A new appraisal process is being introduced which involves staff writing a summary of their achievements, progress against objectives and relevant competences to s supplement their line manager’s performance assessment.

We researched best practice in competences and appraisals, and benchmarked Land Registry’s systems against those in other organisations. Our new system is in line with the Civil Service’s Equality in Performance Report and complies with national best practice.
