Strategic objective 5: To create a Register with comprehensive content and national coverage by 2012

Large voluntary registration projects are being taken forward at a number of our local offices and include major landholdings of the Duchy of Cornwall, Defence Estates, English Partnerships, the Beaulieu Estate, Birmingham City Council and Forest Enterprise (the Forest of Dean). We are also in discussions with a further 20 major landholders, including British Waterways, the Environment Agency and a number of local authorities.

We are working with a customer to investigate electronic exchange of mapping information.
