Strategic objective 1: Information systems

As we continue to expand our range of electronic services in order to deliver a fully electronic register, we also need to increase our IT capability. This expansion is also essential for Land Registry to be able to develop and promote e-conveyancing.

Our new building in Plymouth will house all our Information Systems staff and provide us with a modern and secure facility from which to develop our information systems over the next ten years and into the future. It would allow us to create 100 extra jobs if we need to. The building is on target for completion by the end of the year.

We are also developing a remote, third mainframe site which is on target for an autumn completion.
