Operational position
- Applications reached a record high of 30,218,380 an increase of 13 per cent from last year.
- The output of 30,588,974 applications was also an all-time record, up 14 per cent from last year, in spite of the heavy commitment to training for the Land Registration Act.
- Casework awaiting processing is at its lowest level since 1977 (135,520 cases).
- Since then workload has increased a staggering 800 per cent.
