Human Resources

Human resource strategy

We have frequent discussions with our trade unions to ensure they are fully engaged in our plans, including those for e-conveyancing.

HR Advance
Our IT project ‘HR Advance’, launched at the end of last year, is reaching the award of contract stage. We believe that this project will deliver modern, efficient and value-added HR processes that will support the delivery of our business objectives.

Lyons Review
Land Registry was asked to review its position in London and the South East under the Lyons Review. Having decentralised over many years, including major relocations during the 1980s, we were able to report that only 16 per cent of our staff are now in London and the South East, with only 4 per cent in central London. A process of dispersing Head Office roles from our London base to local office sites continues.
