Electronic records management

The Electronic Records Management System (ERMS) pilot stage began in March 2004. We will have a fully operational ERMS pilot in place by the end of December.

The pilot will include all major correspondence areas within Land Registry, including control of email. It will also include major ‘back office’ administrative functions. The pilot will provide the infrastructure for future records management within Land Registry. It will also provide options for other strategic programmes such as e-conveyancing. If the pilot is successful, full roll out across the agency will commence in 2005.
