Customer Service and Operations

Extended hours of service

We have continued to improve services by significantly increasing the availability of three key areas of our business. In February 2003 we extended the hours of service for Land Registry Direct (LR Direct), Telephone Services and our general telephone enquiries service. The new hours provide access to land registration services for business customers on Saturdays for the first time.

Business customers:

  • can access LR Direct 7am – 10pm weekdays, 7am - 5pm Saturdays

  • can lodge official applications by telephone 8.30am – 8pm weekdays, 8.30am – 1pm Saturdays.

All customers can make general enquiries 8.30am – 8pm weekdays, 8.30 am – 1pm Saturdays.

The Saturday extension is popular with members of the public and we have decided to offer these extended service hours for the foreseeable future, although we will close Telephone Service Centres and general enquiry lines at 6.30 pm on weekdays (when demand is very low).
