Inside the Land Registry

Legislation and rule-making

In accordance with Section 19 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, we submitted our Publication Scheme to the Information Commissioner - and received approval in November. Our scheme, which conforms with all other schemes submitted to the Lord Chancellor's Department (now Department for Constitutional Affairs), was immediately made available in electronic and paper format. The electronic version received over 300 hits in the first month and has maintained a steady level of interest.

Since January we have made available the Minutes of our Directing Board and Managing Board meetings. Edited Minutes are available on request six weeks after the date of the meeting.
