Inside the Land Registry

Training and Development

We continue to invest heavily in the development of our people: total training expenditure for the year was 8.2% of the salary bill.

We design and deliver much of our training in-house in order to meet the training needs identified through the appraisal and Personal Development Plan processes. We undertook more training needs analysis during the year and will be designing new training programmes for delivery during the next academic year.

A further 6 staff have been selected for the Focus accelerated development scheme. They join the 11 participants from the first two years in this intensive 5 year development programme.
