Inside the Land Registry

Human Resources

Ensure that staff have the knowledge, skills and motivation to achieve what is asked of them and derive satisfaction from their jobs; and that they work in an environment in which personal development is encouraged and they can give of their best

Our staff possess a unique body of expertise and skill that we intend to build upon to complete the e-conveyancing process for England and Wales. We continue to consult staff, to discuss staffing levels with trade union representatives and to review staffing levels through a 'forward staffing review'.

"None of our past achievements or our future prospects would be anything without our people."

Peter Collis, Chief Land Registrar, July 2002
