Inside the Land Registry

Equality Proofing

We are committed to a programme of reviewing all HR policies and processes to ensure that they are equality proof, i.e. that they do not intentionally/inadvertently discriminate against/disadvantage/exclude any group(s) of people or individuals.

So far, we have examined the recruitment and appraisal processes, the contribution made by part-time staff and we have addressed local issues and disparities. We have also commissioned equality proofing of job-specific competences.
