Inside the Land Registry

Communication and Consultation

The Land Registry is committed to securing the full involvement of staff in the Agency's work. Free flow of communication is actively promoted and a number of means are used to disseminate information about the Land Registry's activities and performance.

We took forward a number of initiatives during the year as a result of our 2000 staff opinion survey, e.g. publishing a statement of intent regarding our 'blame free' culture. We plan to hold our fourth staff survey in 2002-03. And we continue to have full and effective consultation with staff representatives.

The Quinquennial Reviewer commented on the high level of satisfaction reflected in staff survey results and in our comparatively low staff wastage figures.
