Enhancing our product
Customer perception of the quality of Land Registry's product is good, as evidenced by customer survey feedback and our consistently good accuracy rates. We are always keen to put in place additional measures to continually improve the quality of the data we hold.
A Quality of the Product Review was carried out during 2006 using a large volume of data gathered from a variety of sources. The resulting action plan highlights where we can invest in our current systems and develop new ones to help improve and maintain quality. Examining and redefining processes and methods of communication also help to improve the quality of the end product.
Many of the actions in the plan relate directly to the development of Land Registry people such as team leader workshops, survey and mapping champions, transition planning from training paths, geographic information training and so on.
Land Registry will be able to use information gathered from these many initiatives to assess the improvements made in quality, while maintaining our very high standards of customer service and exceeding our key performance indicators.
