Equality impact assessment Monitoring Contents Previous Next

    6. Monitoring Arrangements

We plan to monitor the impact of the planned office closure over the next three years. During that time we will continue to monitor staff feedback regularly and in any event on a monthly basis. This has started by reviewing all preference forms completed by staff at Harrow office and also from feedback gained from the mitigating factors that have already been put in to place.

If the results of this monitoring highlight any additional impact we will review our current processes.

    7. Publication of Diversity Impact Assessment

The full impact assessment report will be published in HTLM on the Land Registry website to ensure full accessibility.  Due to the format of related papers, these will be published in PDF. Copies of the full report or related papers in alternative formats, including large print are available on request by emailing the Diversity Team at HRDiversity@landregistry.gsi.gov.uk.

    8. Conclusion

The Board confirmed its proposal to close the Harrow office on 12 June 2007. The decision was made following legal advice that the Board was in a position to make such a diversity compliant decision.  Land Registry recognises that this is only the start of the compliance process and that there will remain a need to continuously review, monitor and evaluate the steps it takes to help mitigate the potential adverse impacts the plans have upon all staff.  It hopes all staff and relevant stakeholders, such as DTUS, will assist in contributing to the process.
